Since 2017, Daniel has played a key role for SUMO Developments in the trading activities of the company. Working closely with the CEO and Site/Project Management Teams, Daniel has helped in identifying, funding and acquiring suitable development properties. Post acquisition involvement includes budgeting, procurement, managing cash flow & reporting until the successful completion of sale. Other duties include financial reporting to key stakeholders and all related filings & tax compliance.
Since 2015, Daniel has worked closely with the CEO to identify and acquire investment properties in the North West and abroad. As a predominantly self-funded start up business, Daniel played a key role in cost control, budgeting, cash flow & funding whilst working closely with Site & Project Management teams. Post acquisition and development, Daniel and his team are responsible for liaising with tenants/agents and managing rental income, ASTs, maintenance requests and deposit security returns.
Since 2008, Daniel has played a key role in the growing success of JAM Recruitment ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the finance function across both JAM and group businesses.
Daniel joined the company in 2008 after previous Finance roles with Analysis Mason & Topps Tiles Head Office.
Working closely with the CEO, Daniel is responsible for budgeting, forecasting & cash flow management, financial modelling for acquisitions (including IRR, ARR and payback periods) and planning/financial analysis for a number of group businesses.
Daniel operates in a highly visible and crucial role for the business ensuring finance and group services are operating as a full value add function.
